Sayyid-ul-Aashiqeen Aayat Min Aayaat Rabb-ul-Aalameen,Mo’jzah Min Mo’jzaat Sayyid-ul-Mursaleen Qutub-e-Wahdat Ma’dinil-Fuyooz Wal-Barakat Sayyid-us-Saadaat Huzoor Sayyidina Khwaja Moinuddin Hassan Chishti fomouced by Sultan-ul-Hind Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz RadhiAllahu Ta’la Anh was born at Sanjar or Sajistan with different sayings, in 537 (A.H.). His parental lineage reached to Sayyidush-Shuhada Hadhrat Sayyiduna Imam Hussain Alaihis-Salam with a few chain of communication. Ethnicity lineage is: Hadhrat Sayyed Moinuddin Hassan Bin Sayyed Gayasuddin Hassan Bin Sayyed Ahmad Hassan Bin Sayyed Tahir Hassan Bin Sayyed Abdul-Azeez Bin Sayyed Ibraheem Bin Sayyed Imam Ali Moosa Raza Bin Imam Sayyed Imam Moosa Kazim Bin Sayyed Imam Ja’far Sadiq Bin Imam Baqir Bin Imam Zain-ul-Aabideen Bin Imam Hussain Bin Ameer-ul-Mo’meneen Hadhrat Maula Ali RadhiAllahu Ta’la Anhum. (Reference: Mir’at-ul-Asrar). After acquisition of initial studies, He lived twenty (20) years in the Khidmah of Khwaja Uthman-e-Harooni and received the blessings and Khilafah.

After completion of his spiritual education, Hadhrat Khwaja Uthman-e-Harooni presented with him in Baitullah-Shareef and asked in the court of Allah-Rabb-ul-Izzat, “Oh! Allah, I put Moinuddin in your custody”, the voice came, “we accepted him”. After that, they presented in Devine court of the Holy Prophet (May Allah’s Peace and Mercy be upon him, on his family members and on his companions). The Master of the whole universe blessed him with very high spiritual status and ordered him to live in the land of India, to spread the true spirit of Islam. On that day, after taking place of this event, he blessed with the title of “Ata-e-Rasool”. He just loved to meet with the sufi saints of the time and for this he also travelled around the world. In this period, He met with so many friends of Allah, received blessings and enjoyed their companionship including Hadhrat Shaikh Najmuddeen Kubra (d. 618 A.H.), Hadhrat Shaikh Abdul-Qadir Jilani (d.561 A.H.) and Hadhrat Shaikh Ziyauddin Sohrwardi, the teacher of Hadhrat Shaikh Shahabuddin Sohrwardi. He arrived at Ajmer Sharif after surrounding various places, at the time, when it was completely the center of disbelief and plolytheism and it’s King Rai Pathora, who was an extreme tyrant and the believer of polytheism. He disrespected and did stringently abusive acts in the court of Sultan-ul-Hind Hadhrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz and his companions, for this, he permitted the wrath of Allah Subhana-Wa-Ta’la on his self. After this, Hadhrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz said, “I arrested the rai pathora and gave him to the Islamic armies”. In the same era, Sultan Shahabuddin Ghori attacked India and got victory by the blessings of Hadhrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz and rai pathora got arrested alive by an Islamic army and humiliated forever! Hadhrat Shaikh Mohaqqiq Dehlawi says, “By this historic event, Islam spread in India and the roots of disbeliefs got cut”.

According to an authentic source, Hadhrat Khwaja spent forty years of his life in India and almost a million of people accepted the purity of Islam on his hands. On 6th Rajab/632 AH, at Ajmer Sharif, he left this world and met with the beloved one. At that time, on his holy forehead, these lines were written by the divine hands, “Hadha Habibullah Maat Fi Hubbullah”. The holy place, where he accepted wisal, is the right place of his shrine and it is still remains the fem where every wasp whirls.
